We did something like this last year, and here we are again!!
As you know, Lauren is awesome. She deserves a gift from her Street Team for her birthday! We are planning to make her a book of letters, pictures, etc. from her wonderful fans. The book will be sent to her so she will have it for her birthday (March 8th) If you feel like you’d be interesting in being a part of it, you can:
- write a letter (kind of like a fan letter or birthday card type thing)
- pick a favorite picture of her
- make her something awesome that could be attached to a page of the book
- all of the above, or anything else you can think of!
In order to participate, we ask that you follow the tumblr, and follow the Twitter (however, none of that is required). Send your addition to the book to: LaurenLopez_ST@yahoo.com with the subject LLST Book

Well, it’s not secret that us StarKids are in love with our amazingly talented Harry Freakin Potter!! As some of you may know, Darren’s birthday is coming up VERY soon! And of course we know there’s video projects and twitter trends and everything else imaginable being planned for his birthday from fans. But we want to do something that’s just from the StarKids!! We’re organizing a video from all of you to show him how much we love him and how proud of him we are to wish him a Happy Birthday! Do you want to be a part of it? I hope so! Anyway, to be in the video all you have to do is send us a (relatively short) video!
Videos: The video shouldn’t be much longer than a minute, but it’s definitely okay if it goes over that! In the video, we just want you to say whatever you want to wish him a Happy Birthday! Tell him how much he means to you as a StarKid, how proud of him we all are, etc.! Anything works! However, we want this to be strictly from the StarKid fans!! It would be totally awesome if your video included StarKid references in it, and you should definitely mention StarKid in it if you can.
We need singers too!: For the video, we’d also like to have maybe some little covers of Darren songs, or if someone would write a song about/for him that would be even more amazing! Let us know!!

Hello hello hello unicorns and tacos!
I just wanted to let you all know that I will be leaving to go to a lake in the Adirondacks on Wednesday (Sept. 5), and will be returning on Sunday (Sept. 9). During that time I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to get on the tumblr, and I’m not really sure if I’ll be able to get on the twitter either. If I can get on there I definitely will though. Then on Monday I start school, and on Tuesday I’ll be at an Owl City concert in New York. Then of course there’s marching band four days a week until December. So, I’m not sure how much for this street team I’ll be able to do in that time but I definitely want to do as much as possible. I’ll need ideas though! Send ‘em in!
You guys are all so awesome. I seriously LOVE running this street team because you’re all so nice/sweet/funny/freakin awesome. There’s way too many of you that I’ve actually gotten to know for me to just list people and say how much they mean to me, but if I had the time I’d so do that. Every single member of this street team means a lot, so THANK YOU. You guys seriously make me feel so loved all the time. I’ve met soooo many friends through this street team that I really hope I won’t ever lose. Whether we’re changing our names, planning trips, making tacos, or just being insane, it’s always fun and I LOVE YOU for it. I love going to check my phone and seeing you guys say you love me, that I’m awesome, etc. You’re all so sweet and amazing. You mean a lot to me. :’) Nope, I’m not tearing up what are you saying? As always, I’ll be attempting to save up enough money to see StarKid and meet/hug Lo. I’ve made that a goal. I also want to do a skype interview with her, but I’m too terrified to ask her. Derp.
