We did something like this last year, and here we are again!!
As you know, Lauren is awesome. She deserves a gift from her Street Team for her birthday! We are planning to make her a book of letters, pictures, etc. from her wonderful fans. The book will be sent to her so she will have it for her birthday (March 8th) If you feel like you’d be interesting in being a part of it, you can:
- write a letter (kind of like a fan letter or birthday card type thing)
- pick a favorite picture of her
- make her something awesome that could be attached to a page of the book
- all of the above, or anything else you can think of!
In order to participate, we ask that you follow the tumblr, and follow the Twitter (however, none of that is required). Send your addition to the book to: LaurenLopez_ST@yahoo.com with the subject LLST Book
Please reblog, or tell friends about this! The more participants the better!

For those of you who somehow may not have heard the news, or even forgot, go go go buy this! The album is TOTALLY AWESOME! The StarKids never fail to deliver, do they? Speaking from personal experience, the Apocalyptour tour was absolute perfection, so buy the album pleeeease. I’ve seen that the album is #8 on iTunes, that’s great!! I think us street teamers and dikrats can get it up higher! Spread the word!
Anyway, thank you to you! You’re all amazing, and keep being the amazing diehard StarKid fans you are! Also, I’d love to hear about your Apocalyptour experience if you went! I gotta say, my experience was pretty amazing, I had GA tickets but still met/touched a few dikrats ;D ALSO, I wanna hear what you guys think of the album!
Back to IMPORTANT stuff!! I was thinking that maybe we could organize another thing to give to Lo and the StarKids to congratulate them on the Apoc. CD/DVD success! Any ideas? Anyone on board? :)
Well now you can, with the We Love Lauren Lopez Project! We’re organizing a video from all of you to show her how much we love her! Do you want to be a part of it? I hope so! Anyway, to be in the video all you have to do is send us either a picture or a video (or maybe even both)!
Pictures: You can take a picture of you holding a sign that says your message to Lauren, or just the sign if you don’t want yourself in the video. The sign can say whatever you like. Like why you love her, what she means to you, how she’s inspired you, etc. You can find an example here if you want to see one.
Videos: The video can say the same thing as the pictures. Anything you want. They shouldn’t be much longer than one minute, but it’s okay if it goes a little bit over.
All entries should be either tweeted to us (@laurenlopez_st) or emailed to us (laurenlopez_st@yahoo.com) by August 14th.
*We may extend the deadline a little bit in order to get more entries. So far we don’t have as many as we’d like to include in the video. Pleeeease help spread the word about this project. The video is guaranteed to get to Lo, so why not?

Hey guys! So, I’m really happy to say that the project is going pretty great! Everyone who sent in a letter, thanks so much, they look GREAT. However, the video is in desperate need of more pictures, and maybe even some more videos. The pictures should look something like this:
I love every single entry we’ve gotten so far, but we need more! If you want to send in a picture you can tweet to @laurenlopez_st or email it to laurenlopez_st@yahoo.com. If you want to send in a quick video of you saying why you love Lauren you can email it! :)

So, I’ll be sitting here on tumblr at my grandma’s house for most of the week while my madre is in the hospital. If anyone wants to talk or if anyone has any questions the askbox is always open. I’d love to help you guys out with anything. Also, if you have any ideas, suggestions, or comments for the street team I’d love to hear those too.

We are going to put together a video for Lauren just to show her how much we love her. Some of you already know that. Some of you sent stuff in.
We want things that say that you love her, how much you do, or why! You can send us a picture of you holding a sign, a picture of you with her, a quick video (max. length 1 min.?), or anything really!! Everything would be insanely appreciated. Also for the video, 1 minute is just about how long it can be. It’s completely fine if it’s shorter or a bit longer!

Do you ever think negatively about yourself? Well maybe this post can help you! Glow* is really amazing.
So, I have a problem. For the We Love Lauren Lopez Project I can’t actually edit or put together the video since my laptop is dead with no chance of coming back to life. It’s actually really depressing. However, this does NOT mean we aren’t still doing the project! I just need your help!
If you like to edit/put together videos then let me know! I’m definitely going to need somebody to send the submissions to in order to actually put this thing together! If a bunch of people ask to do this then I’m not sure how I’ll pick a person, but I’m sure we can all work it out.
Also, if you don’t want to do that then still send in a picture! We really need more of those! The pictures are fairly easy, just a quick pic of you with a sign or something is perfect. We need those by August 4th.
If you’ve sent something in, or plan on doing so, then please HELP SPREAD THE WORD. I really want the video to have much more than just the letters (which are due July 28)! The video is meant to show her how many of us love her, why, and how much!
ANNNND. I am definitely going to post what Lauren says when she gets/watches the video, which I’m hoping to give to her before she gets too busy with LeakyCon. I’m sure most of you would like to see her reaction.
